ZOÉ, THE ACCLAIMED MEXICAN ALTERNATIVE BAND, ANNOUNCE U.S. TOUR DATES
Tour Coincides With The Release Of Their New Album, Prográmaton, On October 22

Los Angeles – September 16, 2013 – The acclaimed Mexican alternative rock band Zoé will do a one-month tour starting on Thursday, November 7, at the Warfield in San Francisco, CA and end on Sunday, November 24, at the Best Buy Theatre in New York City, in support of their sixth album, Prográmaton, to be released worldwide on October 22 through Universal Music.
First single “10 A.M.,” produced by Phil Vinall (Radiohead, Placebo, Pulp), is currently available for purchase at iTunes in the U.S. and Mexico and can be streamed on VEVO and YouTube. The song became a trending Twitter topic in less than 24 hours, due to their massive online fan following that equates to over four million. Recorded at the Sonic Ranch studio in Tornillo, Texas, Prográmaton is the band’s fifth studio album in more than five years.
Zoé is lead singer and guitarist León Larregui, guitarist Sergio Acosta, bass player Angel Mosqueda, drummer Rodrigo Guardiola and keyboard player Jesús Báez. Their discography has sold more than one million albums and downloads worldwide. Their latest release MTV Unplugged, Música De Fondo, went quadruple-platinum in Mexico and won the Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Rock Song (“Labios Rotos”). The band has performed at sold-out venues throughout the world and has toured extensively throughout the U.S., dominating the stages of some of the country’s biggest music festivals including Coachella and SXSW.
